I was downtown on my own one night, scouting for different lighting and architecture photo spots. It had been a long time since I'd felt that type of vulnerabilities, taking me back to places I only wanted to forget.

Feeling the steps underneath
Of downtown sidewalk streets
Passing by the lives nestled in the shallow doorways
Involved in their own singular heartbeats

Beams of light splitting buildings
Eroding away another restless night
Warming colors
Chasing hues that seem to me, chilling

Pulling up a thin coat collar
To fight the cold
In search of images
Only my Nikon knows.

Got back from a recent road trip on a photo safari this June 2011. Thanks Donna for being my guide in the northwest area of Washington State. Here are a couple examples of that journey.

Gallery On the Art Walk

Thanks to a good friend that help me connect with this place. Where I'd put a few of my photos at "Salon Kokopelli" down town, 112 west Kennewick Ave. across from the Roxie Theater. The salon participates in the art walk, that takes place every first Thursdays of the month, they are nice people so feel free to drop in. Don't forget to buy one, the prices are on the card according to the sizes.

If in the West Richland area stop at JD's diner home of the best chicken fried steak in the area, where my friend has his amazing photos at and don't forget to buy one of his. Tell them there I sent ya.

Some Upcoming Photo Projects for 2010

I am currently working on a photo project that I’m hoping will possibly lead to a series. I am also shooting a behind the scenes series of photos headed for video.

Pulling the team together is running smoothly, still in need of someone to handle the model with hair/makeup and any wardrobe issues and changes.

I am also taking interviews for a female model/actress, shoulder length, light brown to dark brown hair, slender to average build. Interested contact me via my email Lookingglassrealms@hotmail.com
